Midland Luncheon Club 13 June 2010

The Midland Luncheon Club met in Nottingham on Sunday 13th June 2010. 17 members and partners attended a splendid tour of Nottingham Castle and grounds wonderfully organised by John Cotterill. John gave a presentation on many of the artifacts in the Regimental Museum of the Sherwood Foresters as well as a potted history of Nottingham's favourite son of the Great War, Albert Ball VC

Lunch was taken in supposedly the oldest pub in England 'Ye Olde Trip To Jerusalem' dated 1189

Bob Darby at the Albert Ball Memorial listening to John Cotterill and sharing a seat with probably the two 'newest and youngest' members of the Guild! Well, they wanted to listen in!

Only another 93 years to go!
